Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Topher Curtis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Oscarsson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Oscarsson - just one landing.
Oscarsson moves away from the strike by Curtis.
Oscarsson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Oscarsson there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fighters circling - Oscarsson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Curtis tests Oscarsson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Curtis throws an overhand right that lands on Oscarsson's shoulder, as Oscarsson tries to avoid the shot.
Nice defenses there by Curtis.
Curtis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Oscarsson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Curtis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Oscarsson throws a right hand that misses
and Curtis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Curtis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Oscarsson misses with a straight right.
Oscarsson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Curtis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Oscarsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oscarsson slips a jab from Curtis.
Oscarsson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Curtis with a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Curtis digs a good hook to Oscarsson's body.
Oscarsson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Oscarsson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.


It looks like Oscar Oscarsson has been cut.
Curtis misses with a looping right.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Oscarsson takes a swing at Curtis's ribcage but misses.
Curtis is looking to counter punch.
Curtis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Oscarsson misses the body punch
and Curtis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Oscarsson might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Curtis has got the better of the exchanges.
Curtis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Oscarsson.
Topher Curtis is winning the standup battle so far.
Oscarsson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Curtis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Oscarsson in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Oscarsson thuds his right hand into Curtis's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Oscarsson slips a jab from Curtis.

Curtis throws a lazy uppercut
and Oscarsson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Curtis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Curtis misses with a lunging right hand
and Oscarsson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Curtis is rocked!
Oscarsson throws an overhand right that has Curtis reeling! Oscarsson follows up with more punches and Curtis is out cold! This one is all over!

Oscar Oscarsson thanked the fans post fight for their support.
Topher Curtis was interviewed post fight and said 'Everybody loses sometimes which means he got lucky today. Next time we meet will result in a broken jaw.'.
