Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uniesky Santaban (ranked 1186 p4p, 165 weight class) and Chris Harper (ranked 1625 p4p, 213 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Uniesky Santaban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Harper!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santaban gets tackled into the ropes by Harper. Harper maintains the clinch.
Harper tries to throw a body punch but Santaban avoids it by throwing Harper back against the ropes.
Santaban lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Santaban blocks a body shot from Harper.
Harper prevents Santaban from breaking the clinch.
Harper goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Santaban working hard to break the clinch.
Harper tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Harper.
Harper misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Santaban has had enough of the clinch but Harper keeps him there for the moment.

Santaban wants to get back to striking at distance but Harper won't allow it.
Santaban is leaning against Harper and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Santaban's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harper jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Harper uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Santaban.
Harper throws out a counter right but Santaban avoids it with no problem.
Harper misses with a hook. Santaban ducked under it nicely.
Santaban throws a quick inside leg kick.

Harper has Santaban up against the ropes in a clinch.
Harper swings wildly with an uppercut but Santaban uses good head movement to avoid it.
Harper's coach down at Pablo's Boxing Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Harper's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Santaban tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Harper misses with a hook to the ribs.

Santaban breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harper needs to keep his hands up - Santaban had a free shot at his head there.
Santaban scores with a one two! Harper had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Santaban takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Uniesky Santaban has been cut.
Santaban on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A low kick from Santaban misses
and Harper scores with a counter punch that sends Santaban to the canvas! Harper smells blood - he's punishing Santaban with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Santaban has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
