Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bryson Pico (ranked 2737 p4p, 144 weight class) and Henry The Crab (ranked 1791 p4p, 107 weight class). Pico comes to the cage accompanied by Lowkey - G-Eazy. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bryson Pico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry The Crab!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Crab stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and The Crab wants it to stay on the feet.
The Crab looks like he wants to counter punch here.

The Crab takes the fight into the clinch.
The Crab scores with a shoulder strike.
Pico definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The Crab works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The Crab wants to control from the top but Pico keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pico is trying to keep The Crab in close.
The Crab wants to pass the guard but Pico is keeping the position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as The Crab holds on and takes a little breather.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pico's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pico accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The Crab bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pico's guard.

The Crab is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Pico wants to sweep here but The Crab controlling him for the moment.

The Crab thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pico is adopting a defensive guard.

Pico is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Pico is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The Crab thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The Crab drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pico looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pico looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pico!

Pico has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and The Crab connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The Crab clinches up with Pico and pushes him back against the cage.

Pico has The Crab pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. The Crab manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The Crab is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pico is defending well for now.

The Crab jumps guard and drags Pico to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pico chips away with some ground and pound.
The Crab controls Pico momentarily but Pico frees himself.

The Crab is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pico is aware though and is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pico drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pico jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henry The Crab dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The Crab has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Pico seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if The Crab can turn it around.

Pico has hold of one of The Crab's legs. The Crab is fighting the takedown attempt but Pico gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The Crab is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pico is just too persistent for him and manages to trip The Crab to the mat. The Crab regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Pico decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on The Crab, up you get!

Pico seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

The Crab changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryson Pico. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pico takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The Crab throws a head kick that misses.
The Crab pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pico back to the cage. The Crab follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Pico gets cracked with a nice right hand there by The Crab.
Pico fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts The Crab, as that shot connected.
Pico shoots in for a takedown but The Crab shows good takedown defense.
The Crab appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

The Crab had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pico defends it easily.

Pico postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Pico slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The Crab has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pico can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now The Crab is on top in guard.

Henry The Crab is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Let's hope that The Crab has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

I've got The Crab winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Bryson Pico spoke after the fight, saying 'The fans deserved a better performance from me. I will not let them down again.'.
