Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bishop Heahmund (ranked 6685 p4p, 583 weight class) and Shogun Silva (ranked 6657 p4p, 582 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Silva scores with a four punch combination!
Silva tries to clinch but Heahmund moves out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Heahmund swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Heahmund throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.

and Silva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Heahmund thinking.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It looked like Heahmund wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Silva lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Heahmund to his knees! Silva keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
