Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thaddeus Patel (ranked 24787 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Hart (ranked 4561 p4p, 0 weight class). John Hart has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thaddeus Patel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Hart!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patel misses with a takedown attempt - Hart sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hart fails to land the takedown.
Patel closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hart's guard.
Hart scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Patel throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hart.
Hart shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hart is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Patel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hart.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hart blocks the strikes from Patel.
Patel is looking for a sweep. Hart is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hart is trying to control the action in half guard but Patel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Patel has one foot on Hart's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Patel closes the distance and pushes Hart back into the cage.
Patel pushes off an throws an elbow but Hart leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hart jumps guard and drags Patel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hart is trying to keep Patel in close.
Patel landing some decent shots from guard.
Hart thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hart throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Patel escapes and throws Hart's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Patel is putting a hurting on Hart here, landing some big shots from side control.
Hart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Patel decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hart to his feet.
A good leg kick by Hart.
Hart misses the shot to the body.
Patel is looking to counter the offense by Hart and move into the clinch.
Patel moves into the clinch.
Patel jumps guard.
Hart throws an elbow that misses. Patel uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hart's guard. Nice move by Patel!
Patel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hart looking to control but Patel passes into half guard.
Patel is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hart is trying to control but can't.
Patel stands up and beckons Hart to join him on the feet.
Hart gets a clinch.
Patel has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hart regains guard immediately.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Patel with a flurry of punches that miss.
Hart working a defensive guard but Patel manages to pass into side control anyway.
Patel tries for a kimura but Hart is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thaddeus Patel dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Patel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hart manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hart is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Patel dives into side control.
Hart bucks up and tries to throw Patel off but instead Patel has got his back!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patel is working for a rear naked choke. Hart is not defending it well and Patel has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hart refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hart's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Thaddeus Patel!
