Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominick De Struicao (ranked 2367 p4p, 278 weight class) and Max Slaughter (ranked 6637 p4p, 513 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De Struicao might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Walk With Me In Hell. Slaughter has chosen Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter - Iron Maiden as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

De Struicao feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Slaughter's calf.
Max Slaughter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

De Struicao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and De Struicao wants it to stay on the feet.

Slaughter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as De Struicao sprawls well. De Struicao wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slaughter gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
De Struicao throws a leg kick which misses Slaughter's front leg but catches the back leg as Slaughter tries to avoid it.

and De Struicao counters with a nice uppercut.
De Struicao is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Slaughter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

De Struicao throws a powerful right kick. Slaughter tried to block low but the kick was high! Slaughter was taken right off of his feet! De Struicao jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
