Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Fitch (ranked 2728 p4p, 338 weight class) and Basil Borcea (ranked 2477 p4p, 309 weight class). Basil Borcea will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Basil Borcea!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borcea looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fitch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fitch throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Borcea counters with a nice uppercut.
Fitch takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Borcea closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Trevor Fitch has been cut.
Fitch tries for a takedown but Borcea sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fitch misses with a hook.
Borcea ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Borcea closes the distance and clinches.
Borcea lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fitch is trying to force a seperation but Borcea has the dominant position.
Borcea softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Fitch tries to pull guard but Borcea forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trevor Fitch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fitch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Borcea smiles and moves away.
Fitch misses with a combination
and Fitch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fitch throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Borcea tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Borcea misses with a two punch combination.
Fitch shoots in but no luck this time.
Fitch takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Borcea moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fitch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fitch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Borcea swivels and escapes.
Fitch throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Borcea counter with a right hand.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fitch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Borcea smiles and moves away.
Fitch misses with a hook. Borcea ducked under it nicely.
Borcea on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Borcea lands a slapping body shot.
Fitch will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Borcea misses with the combination.
Fitch really is a fat lump.
Fitch throws the left hand but Borcea avoids the punch easily.
Basil Borcea is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Borcea keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Borcea has managed to clinch.
Borcea scores with a nice hook to the head.
Fitch tries to pull guard but Borcea forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Fitch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Borcea walks away with a smile on his face. Fitch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Borcea lands a left and a right that send Fitch crashing to the mat, dazed. Borcea thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fitch is rocked!
Trevor Fitch's cut is getting worse.
Borcea keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Oh Fitch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Borcea drops Fitch with a huge uppercut! Fitch drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Borcea is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Basil Borcea!
