Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Stormchaser (ranked 2761 p4p, 324 weight class) and Matt Richard (ranked 2130 p4p, 267 weight class). Richard has chosen Rocket Man - Elton John as his entrance music. The key to victory for James Stormchaser has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stormchaser lands an overhand right.
Richard swings away with a body shot that misses
and Stormchaser counters with a straight right hand.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stormchaser. Richard shrugs it off though.
Stormchaser punishes Richard's body with a nice straight punch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Richard has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Richard closes the distance and pushes Stormchaser back into the cage.

Richard drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stormchaser gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Stormchaser dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Richard. That did some damage!

Richard chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stormchaser can pounce on him.
