Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maycon Ninja (ranked 5346 p4p, 412 weight class) and Boris Godunov (ranked 4487 p4p, 372 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ninja changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Godunov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Godunov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ninja is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Godunov has escaped the position, nice work there.

Ninja wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Godunov, who protects the arm well.

Ninja tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ninja has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ninja drops back looking for a leg! Godunov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Godunov manages to kick Ninja off! Ninja jumps back into Godunov's guard.

Godunov has his foot on Ninja's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ninja works his way back into a safe position though.

Ninja drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Godunov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ninja has Godunov in his guard.
