Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thaddeus Dettman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sken Jone!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jone shoots in but no luck this time.

It looks like Sken Jone has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dettman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jone to his feet.
Jone looks winded!
Dettman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dettman is fending him off so far but Jone persists. Nope, Dettman circles away and we're back to standing.
Dettman seems to be stalking Jone here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Jone drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Thaddeus Dettman!
