Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Maverick (ranked 4654 p4p, 448 weight class) and Peter Petrov (ranked 4676 p4p, 449 weight class). Kyle Maverick is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Maverick .
Maverick tries to clinch there but Petrov circles away.

Petrov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Maverick to the ground. Petrov is now in Maverick 's guard.
Petrov postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Maverick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Petrov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Petrov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Petrov is working Maverick over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Petrov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Petrov postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Maverick covers up, he's hurt! Petrov keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Petrov and the ref steps in to end the fight! Petrov can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
