The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jackson throws a right hand that Kimura ducks under and follows up with a left that Kimura also avoids with ease.

Jackson slips under a jab from Kimura.
Decent striking displayed by Kimura there.
Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kimura throws out the jab.
The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jackson misses with a hook. Kimura ducked under it nicely.
Kimura closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kimura fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.
Kimura lands a jab to the nose.

Jackson throws a leg kick but Kimura sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kimura's corner calls for a 1-2. Kimura obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.


It looks like Tyson Jackson has been cut.

Kimura tries to move into range but Jackson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


It looks like Masahiko Kimura has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Jackson misses the target.

Kimura scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
