The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Del Brophy.
Woods tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Del Brophy was well out of range. Poor timing from Woods.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Woods crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Del Brophy - the referee stops the clock and Woods gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Del Brophy. Woods manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Del Brophy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Woods is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Del Brophy.

Del Brophy throws a big counter combination but Woods scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Woods uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Del Brophy has time to react.

Del Brophy is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Woods doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Del Brophy crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Del Brophy's bad books for that mishap!

A very excited looking Jake Woods rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
