Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luther Jones (ranked 1237 p4p, 168 weight class) and Jimmy Cathaway (ranked 1674 p4p, 218 weight class). Jones's entrance music is One - Metallica. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones is looking to clinch but Cathaway is avoiding it.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Cathaway circles away.
Cathaway appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Luther Jones has been cut.
Jones moves away from the strike by Cathaway.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cathaway throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

As Cathaway tries to get set, Jones tries to push him back and clinch up but Cathaway manages to avoid the attempt.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cathaway sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cathaway does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
