Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Argat Khan (ranked 2306 p4p, 298 weight class) and Matheo Rojas (ranked 2014 p4p, 262 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be touched. Rojas has chosen Rodrigo Amarante - Tuyo (Narcos Theme Song) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rojas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Khan counters with an inside leg kick.
Khan misses the shot to the body.
Khan misses with a few strikes there.
Khan throws a shot from downtown. Rojas moves away and avoids it.
Rojas moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rojas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Khan lands a jab-cross combination.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Khan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Rojas.
Rojas can't find room to land a body shot as Khan controls the action.

Rojas blocks an uppercut.
Rojas misses with a punch on the inside.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rojas is keeping busy.

Rojas lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Khan backwards.
Rojas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Khan is looking to clinch.
Rojas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Khan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rojas is out of range.
Rojas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Khan.

Rojas looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Khan finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Good standup being displayed there by Rojas as he connects with a hook.
Rojas throws a looping overhand right but Khan ducks down to avoid it.
Khan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Matheo Rojas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rojas tests Khan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan closes the distance and clinches.
Rojas doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Rojas manages to break the clinch.
Khan throws a series of punches but Rojas avoids them all with ease.
Khan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rojas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Khan on the side of the head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Khan.
Khan misses with a combination
and Rojas counters with a nice uppercut.
Khan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Khan gets a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Rojas.
Rojas blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've been hearing reports that Khan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Rojas misses with a hook to the ribs.
Khan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Khan wants to clinch up but Rojas keeps it at a distance.
A big left from Khan misses.
Rojas throws a hook but Khan blocks it.
Khan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Khan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rojas slips a jab from Khan.
Rojas takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rojas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khan.
Rojas tests Khan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Khan tries to move into range but Rojas moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khan throws a lazy right hand but Rojas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rojas misses with a few strikes there.
Rojas is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Khan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Rojas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Khan.
Khan throws a nice head kick!
Khan throws a shot to the body.
Khan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rojas is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him?
Khan weaves into range and cracks Rojas right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Rojas goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Khan is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Argat Khan!
