Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Peterson finds it's way round the side to connect with Richards's head.
Peterson clinches with his opponent.
Richards tries to throw a body punch but Peterson avoids it by throwing Richards back against the cage.
Peterson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck for Peterson with that takedown attempt.
Richards feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Peterson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Richards has eaten all the pies!

Richards working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Peterson's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Richards accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Richards postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Richards is fighting to break Peterson's control of his arms but Peterson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Peterson has his feet on Richards's thighs here. He's pushed Richards off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Richards screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
