Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jure Roglic!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewer dives in for a single leg takedown but Roglic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A jab lands there for Roglic.
Roglic lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Brewer with a lazy takedown attempt
and Roglic counters with a nice uppercut.
Brewer shoots in but no luck this time.

Brewer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roglic did well to prevent Brewer getting side control.

Roglic tries to roll over but Brewer keeps him under control.

Roglic is positioning himself well to prevent Brewer advancing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roglic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brewer is working away from the top position though.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Brewer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Brewer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Roglic swivels and escapes.

Roglic is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brewer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Horrible takedown attempt by Brewer or perhaps it was just good defense by Roglic, which made it look bad.
The fighters circle momentarily. Roglic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Roglic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A quick step to the side and Brewer tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mark Brewer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roglic scores with the left hand. Brewer knows he should have avoided that one.
Brewer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Roglic avoids it really well and circles away.
