Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Silva (ranked 3691 p4p, 323 weight class) and Idris Onolunose (ranked 3781 p4p, 330 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with Ratamahatta - Sepultura blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Felipe Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Idris Onolunose!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onolunose drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Onolunose shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Onolunose showed some decent athleticism there.
Silva moves into full guard.

Silva has his foot on Onolunose's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Onolunose works his way back into a safe position though.

Silva is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Onolunose rolls with it to try and escape but Silva cranks on the arm and Onolunose is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A less than humble Felipe Silva misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
