Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Crespo (ranked 1905 p4p, 213 weight class) and Maatia Supuaga (ranked 2486 p4p, 265 weight class). Crespo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Toxic Waltz. Supuaga is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aldo Crespo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maatia Supuaga!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crespo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Supuaga tries for a takedown but Crespo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Crespo went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Supuaga ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crespo moves away.

Supuaga clinches up against the cage.
Crespo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Supuaga smiles and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crespo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Supuaga has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crespo has managed to get both his arms back between Supuaga's legs - danger averted.

Crespo shoots in looking for a takedown but Supuaga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crespo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That was a close round but Aldo Crespo did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
