Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Samuel Little (ranked 23038 p4p, 499 weight class) and Alex Murray (ranked 6434 p4p, 449 weight class). Alex Murray told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samuel Little!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Murray!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray lands a head shot.
Little throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Murray lands a nice shot that snaps Little's head back.
Little tries a head kick but it misses.
Little misses with a few strikes there.
Murray misses with a straight left.
Murray throws a big shot that misses.
Nice straight punches there by Little. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Little.
Murray pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Little plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Murray scores with a nice strike.
Murray blocks a head kick by Little.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Murray moves into range and clinches up with Little.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Murray.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Murray takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Little wants to get back to striking at distance but Murray won't allow it.
Little is trying to break the clinch but Murray is controlling him.
Murray comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Murray creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Murray has Little pressed against the ropes, preventing Little from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Murray keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Little's efforts to push away.
Little wants to break the clinch but can't.
Little is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
A right hook to the body lands for Murray.
Little takes an elbow to the temple.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Murray.
A short right from Murray.

Little is rocked!
Murray lands a damaging elbow.
Oh Little is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Samuel Little has been cut.
Murray creates a bit of distance and cracks Little with a big uppercut! Little goes down! The referee pushes Murray away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Little make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Murray takes it!
