Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nufro Cacho (ranked 5805 p4p, 56 weight class) and Takahiro Shirai (ranked 3367 p4p, 131 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirai jabs Cacho right on the nose. Cacho blinks but takes it well.
Cacho lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cacho swinging wildly here.
Shirai looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Cacho looks to score with a jab to the body but Shirai is just out of range.

Cacho misses with a hook
and Shirai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Nufro Cacho has been cut.
Shirai staying out of range there.
Cacho clinches up against the cage.

Cacho swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Shirai manages to break the clinch.
Nufro Cacho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shirai fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cacho on the side of the head.
Cacho throws a shot from downtown. Shirai moves away and avoids it.
Cacho misses with a left hand
and Shirai counters with a crisp right that sends Cacho to the canvas! Shirai follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takahiro Shirai!
