Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Chong Tay (ranked 3860 p4p, 427 weight class) and Buzz Meeks (ranked 2076 p4p, 268 weight class). Chong Tay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A head kick misses from Meeks.
Tay feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Meeks's calf.
Meeks doesn't manage to clinch there - Tay circles away.
Meeks takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Meeks rushes Tay and presses him up against the ropes.
Meeks lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tay backwards.

Tay breaks from the clinch.
Meeks throws a head kick but Tay moves out of range.
Meeks swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tay staggers Meeks with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Meeks looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

Meeks throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Meeks tries to work over Tay's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Tay wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Tay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Meeks scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Tay beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

It looks like Chong Tay has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tay looks to throw the jab but Meeks is out of range.

Meeks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Tay can't break the clinch.

Tay is rocked!
Meeks lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Oh Tay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A left hand lands to the body for Meeks.
Tay seems to have got his legs back now.
Meeks lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Meeks breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Tay with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Tay looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Tay get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Meeks creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Meeks creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Tay crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Tay face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Meeks takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
