Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Brownie (ranked 1835 p4p, 236 weight class) and Dante Fiaschi (ranked 2401 p4p, 292 weight class). Fiaschi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man. On his way into the cage it seems that Shaun Brownie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shaun Brownie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brownie throws out a loose jab but Fiaschi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fiaschi ducks under a wild hook from Brownie.
Fiaschi lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Fiaschi shoots in for a takedown but Brownie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brownie shoots in and gets a takedown into Fiaschi's guard.
Fiaschi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Fiaschi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fiaschi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brownie tries to score with some ground and pound. Fiaschi controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Fiaschi tries to buck Brownie off but Brownie is having none of it.

Brownie looks up at the clock and then as Fiaschi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Brownie smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Brownie's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brownie lands with a hammerfist to the side of Fiaschi's head.
Fiaschi is rocked!
Brownie drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Fiaschi is in real trouble here! Brownie lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Brownie is delighted!

Shaun Brownie was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
