Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Branch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raykuza Maui!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maui takes a swing at Branch's ribcage but misses.
Branch uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Maui.
A swing and a miss from Maui.

Maui cracks Branch with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Branch is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Branch is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!


It looks like Frank Branch has been cut.
Branch lands with a nice combination. Maui backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Raykuza Maui has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Branch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Branch throws a jab but it's blocked by Maui.
Branch throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Maui counters with a right hand to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice body kick there by Branch.
Branch throws an off balance right hand
enabling Maui to counter with a crisp jab.
Maui throws a poor cross that misses
and Branch makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Branch blocks a jab.
Branch takes one to the side of the head.
Branch bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Branch scores with a jab. Maui acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Branch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maui was well out of range. Poor timing from Branch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

enabling Branch to counter with a crisp jab.
Branch throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Maui counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops Branch onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue.


Branch is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maui throws out a loose jab but Branch uses good head movement to avoid it.
A quick step to the side and Branch tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Maui throws a body shot but no joy.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Branch looks to land a left hand but Maui moved out of range nicely.
It seemed like Maui was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Maui misses with a left hand
and Branch counters with a straight right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raykuza Maui will get the nod in that round, having scored multiple knockdowns.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Maui throws an overhand right that lands on Branch's shoulder, as Branch tries to avoid the shot.
Branch moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Maui walks into a jab.
Branch works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Branch lands a body shot.
Maui throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Branch counters with a low kick, right behind Maui 's knee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maui drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Branch onto his butt! Branch pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Branch throws a predictable looking body shot
and Maui counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Raykuza Maui!
