Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Rasul Dolaev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Byung Soo Choi!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Dolaev counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dolaev.
Choi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Choi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dolaev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Choi has managed to get both his arms back between Dolaev's legs - danger averted.

As Choi tries to get set, Dolaev tries to push him back and clinch up but Choi manages to avoid the attempt.

Dolaev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Choi tries to avoid it but Dolaev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Choi to the ground. Choi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
