The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Majere throws a chopping leg kick but Rasmussen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Rasmussen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Majere.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Majere has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Majere tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Majere blocks a head kick by Rasmussen.

Raistlin Majere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Raistlin Majere has been cut.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Rasmussen! Majere is out on his feet! Rasmussen rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Majere is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Majere is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
