Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Dimitrov (ranked 540 p4p, 76 weight class) and Aapeli Vipunen (ranked 869 p4p, 108 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dimitrov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Drake - Energy. Vipunen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Solonen ft. Kosola - LÄSKI! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Daniel Dimitrov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Aapeli Vipunen's chin.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Daniel Dimitrov has been cut.

Dimitrov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dimitrov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vipunen was well out of range. Poor timing from Dimitrov.

Dimitrov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

A quick step to the side and Dimitrov tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dimitrov clobbers Vipunen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Vipunen catches Dimitrov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Vipunen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dimitrov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vipunen misses with a leg kick.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dimitrov checks a leg kick.
Dimitrov scores with a jab to the jaw.
Vipunen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Vipunen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Daniel Dimitrov's cut is getting worse.
Vipunen throws a sloppy head kick and Dimitrov moves out of range easily.
Dimitrov appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Vipunen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Vipunen's corner calls for a 1-2. Vipunen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dimitrov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Vipunen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dimitrov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Vipunen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dimitrov.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Aapeli Vipunen will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Vipunen missing with a left hand there. Dimitrov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It looked like Dimitrov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Dimitrov might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vipunen.

Vipunen is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Vipunen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dimitrov at a distance.
Vipunen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dimitrov. That did some damage!

Vipunen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vipunen cracks Dimitrov with a hook to the temple - Dimitrov is on wobbly legs here! Vipunen swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Dimitrov falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Vipunen wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Aapeli Vipunen!
Aapeli Vipunen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
