The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucy throws a lazy right hand but Soszynski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lucy moves forwards but Soszynski connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lucy throws a shot from downtown. Soszynski moves away and avoids it.
Soszynski jabs Lucy right on the nose. Lucy blinks but takes it well.

Soszynski sends Lucy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Soszynski is motioning to the referee to let Lucy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Lucy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
No joy there for Lucy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lucy leaves his chin hanging out and Soszynski seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lucy crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
