Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laurence Paul (ranked 1912 p4p, 243 weight class) and Raul Kyshenko (ranked 1840 p4p, 235 weight class). Raul Kyshenko struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kyshenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Paul tries to buck Kyshenko off but Kyshenko is having none of it.

Kyshenko remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Kyshenko bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Kyshenko is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Paul is trying to escape and Kyshenko transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Paul is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kyshenko! Very nice indeed!
