Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kiril Bohizdar (ranked 1585 p4p, 92 weight class) and Sami Steele (ranked 2283 p4p, 125 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kiril Bohizdar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sami Steele!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele slaps away a takedown attempt from Bohizdar, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bohizdar motions for Steele to come forward. Bohizdar throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Steele! But no joy.
Bohizdar defending well as Steele loads up on a big left hand.
Bohizdar drops his hands momentarily and Steele takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bohizdar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Steele ducks under a wild hook from Bohizdar.
Bohizdar lands a jab to Steele's midsection.
Steele is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bohizdar.
Bohizdar goes for a double leg but Steele avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Steele continues to drive forward.
Bohizdar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steele moves away.
Bohizdar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bohizdar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steele paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steele throws a shot from downtown. Bohizdar moves away and avoids it.
Steele throws a jab but it's blocked by Bohizdar.
Bohizdar cracks Steele with an open hand slap.
Bohizdar swings for the body but Steele moves out of range.
Steele looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bohizdar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bohizdar lands a jab.
Nice shot by Steele.
Bohizdar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kiril Bohizdar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steele on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bohizdar misses with a wild combination.
A swing and a miss from Steele.
Bohizdar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steele moves away.
Sami Steele is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Steele connects with the punch.
Bohizdar closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Steele's guard.
Bohizdar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Steele tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bohizdar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Steele's face as Bohizdar controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bohizdar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Steele wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Bohizdar is looking to take a break and control but Steele is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bohizdar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bohizdar in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Steele is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
