Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DeMarcus Cousins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Watson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like DeMarcus Cousins has been cut.

Sloppy strikes from Cousins. Those never looked like landing.
Cousins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dave Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Watson closes the distance and clinches up with Cousins, looking for a takedown. Watson pushes Cousins against the ropes but Cousins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
