Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felton Glass (ranked 24666 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Stein (ranked 4623 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felton Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brick Stein!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Stein with that takedown attempt.

Stein closes the distance and clinches.

Glass's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stein swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stein fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Glass moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stein tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Glass counters with a shoot takedown. Stein fights it but they end up in guard.

Stein pushes Glass off and gets back to his feet.

Glass breaks from the clinch.
Stein fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Glass avoids it really well and circles away.
Glass tries to counter with a takedown but Stein is quick to defend against it.
Felton Glass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brick Stein.
Stein shoots in for a double leg but Glass sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Stein clinches up against the cage.

Glass breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stein shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Glass sprawls well. Glass wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stein gets slowly back to his feet.
Glass really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stein has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Glass uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Glass stands and steps away. Stein gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Glass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Glass wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
No joy there for Glass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stein tries for a takedown but Glass sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Glass is looking to counter the offense by Stein and move into the clinch.
Stein misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Glass is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Stein.

and Glass counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Stein tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Glass swivels and escapes.
Glass went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Stein will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Glass tries to close the distance and clinch but Stein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stein shoots in looking for a takedown. Glass tries to sprawl out of it but Stein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Glass manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Glass moves into the clinch.
Stein wants a takedown.

Glass has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stein clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Stein tries to escape but Glass has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Stein is still trying to improve position.
Glass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stein is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Glass.

Felton Glass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stein is covering up but some of the strikes from Glass are getting through and doing damage.

Glass is persistently looking for the submission but Stein is defending it well.

Stein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glass. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Can Stein hold on?! Glass is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
You can see the frustration on Stein's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Glass is trying to stick to Stein's back but Stein is turning into Glass. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Glass's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Stein.

Glass throws a big counter combination but Stein scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Stein throws a solid leg kick but Glass takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stein.
It looked like Glass was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Stein has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Glass after a bit of a struggle.

and Glass decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stein's guard.

and Glass counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stein won't be happy with that.
Brick Stein has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Felton Glass is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Glass has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Felton Glass showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glass, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
