PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cromel Tracer (ranked 1995 p4p, 221 weight class) and Sebastian Rutten (ranked 3836 p4p, 356 weight class). Tracer comes into the arena with NF-I`m ready blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cromel Tracer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sebastian Rutten!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tracer swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Rutten counters with a nice uppercut.
Tracer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ruttens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Sebastian Rutten has been cut.
Tracer throws a looping overhand right but Rutten ducks down to avoid it.
Tracer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rutten moves away.
Tracer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rutten swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tracer instigates a clinch.

Rutten escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tracer throws a lazy uppercut
and Rutten counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tracer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tracer misses with a combination
letting Rutten counter with a right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tracer instigates a clinch.
Tracer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rutten to keep the fight standing.

Rutten drops Tracer onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Tracer is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Tracer is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rutten keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tracer's efforts to push away.
Oh Tracer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A frustrated look appears on Tracer's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tracer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rutten has him pressed against the cage.
Tracer seems to have got his legs back now.
Rutten has Tracer pressed against the cage, preventing Tracer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rutten lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rutten scores with a nice hook to the head.
Rutten lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Rutten creates a bit of distance and unloads a huge uppercut that knocks Tracer out cold! The ref dives in to break up the two fighters! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sebastian Rutten!
