The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Par fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Measles looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A telegraphed right hand from Par misses the target.
Measles's coach down at Smitty's was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Measles's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Par waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Measles.
Measles is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Measles blocks a jab.
Par misses with a right hand

and Measles moves into the clinch.
Par is trying to break free.
Measles lands an elbow that stopped Par in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Cung Wo Par has been cut.
Par definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Measles lands an elbow just above Par 's eye.
Measles keeps control of Par as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Measles gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Measles lands an elbow inside.

Cung Wo Par's cut is getting worse.
Par is trying to force a seperation but Measles has the dominant position.
Measles lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Measles creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Par's defenses.

Cung Wo Par's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Par wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Par takes an elbow to the forehead.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Measles is pushing Par up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Measles continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Jeez, Cung Wo Par's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Measles pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Measles controlling the action here for a moment.
Par avoids the elbow strike from Measles, against the cage.
Par wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Measles has him pressed against the cage.
Measles lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cung Wo Par's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
