The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz slips a straight right by Alexander.
Diaz steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Alexander.
Alexander swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Diaz.

Alexander lands a big head kick that sends Diaz tumbling to the mat! Alexander takes a step backwards and waves Diaz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

As Diaz tries to get set, Alexander tries to push him back and clinch up but Diaz manages to avoid the attempt.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Alexander moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Diaz! Alexander continues to tee off on Diaz, landing with a left and a right! Alexander connects with a right hand that leaves Diaz sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Alexander!
