The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Johnson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

McPeepee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Johnson seems to have got his legs back now.
We've been informed that McPeepee has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Johnson is covering up but some of the strikes from McPeepee are getting through and doing damage.
McPeepee controls the action.
McPeepee lands a series of strikes from the back and Johnson goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!
