The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocks tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Batho counters with a straight right hand.
Rocks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Batho was well out of range. Poor timing from Rocks.
Batho fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rocks looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Batho misses with a wild body shot.
Batho sets himself, and Rocks steps forward looking for the clinch! Batho avoids it this time.
Rocks misses with a hook. Batho ducked under it nicely.
Batho swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Batho connects with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rocks loads up on a big right hand but Batho slips the punch.
Batho throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Batho connects with a right hand. Rocks shakes it off.
Rocks throws a hook to the side of Batho's head but Batho sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Batho circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Rocks drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Batho follows Rocks to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tshephang Batho!
