Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Soprano (ranked 3397 p4p, 120 weight class) and Claudio Escorre (ranked 1078 p4p, 50 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Soprano might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 2pac - Until The End Of Time. Escorre is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Chico Science & Nação Zumbi - Da Lama Ao Caos. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Escorre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Soprano dives in and grabs Escorre's left leg, looking for a takedown. Escorre pushes down on Soprano's head and hops out.
Escorre throws a right hand that Soprano ducks under and follows up with a left that Soprano also avoids with ease.
Escorre throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Escorre fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Soprano shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Escorre as he jumps to the side.

We've been hearing that Soprano has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soprano postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Soprano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Escorre gets in close and tags Soprano with a short punch that almost sends Soprano to the mat! Oh Soprano is in big trouble! He turns his back on Escorre, trying to create some distance but Escorre rushes him, striking wildly and Soprano goes down! The referee tackles Escorre into the cage to end the fight! Escorre is one violent man!
