Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dingleberry Jones (ranked 6627 p4p, 439 weight class) and Daleb Managedov (ranked 1482 p4p, 158 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Hell Yeah. Managedov has chosen Chechen Mob Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dingleberry Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daleb Managedov!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones moves into the clinch.
Managedov misses with a knee strike.
Managedov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jones misses with a wild combination.
Jones feints and then cracks Managedov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Managedov down.
Managedov shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Managedov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Managedov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jones connects with a leg kick. Managedov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones darts in and clinches Managedov up against the cage.

We've been hearing that Jones has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Jones throws a strike but Managedov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Managedov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Managedov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Jones throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Jones has momentary wrist control but Managedov slips an elbow through the middle.

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Managedov manages to get himself to full guard.

Jones is pressing down on Managedov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Managedov is holding on for now.
Managedov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jones lands a nice hook to Managedov's body. Managedov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Managedov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jones cracks the inside of Managedov's front leg.
Managedov darts in looking for a takedown but Jones gets double underhooks and turns Managedov into the cage.
Managedov ducks right into an uppercut from Jones.

and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Managedov.


Managedov is rocked!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Managedov is defended easily by Jones.
Managedov is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Managedov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Managedov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Managedov's head.
Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Managedov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jones content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Managedov's temple.
