Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Brunson (ranked 4658 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Miles (ranked 3398 p4p, 407 weight class). Brunson comes to the cage accompanied by Contra. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson shoots for a double leg takedown but Miles sprawls well. He's pushed Brunson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Miles closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brunson to the mat! Brunson manages to get full guard.

Miles is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brunson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Brunson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brunson tries to clinch but Miles moves out of range.
Miles doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brunson counters with a straight right hand.
Brunson shoots in for a takedown but Miles shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brunson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
