The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugsie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Mister Hugsie has been cut.
Nganuo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hugsie.

Hugsie moves into range and clinches up with Nganuo.
I was talking to Nganuo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The referee is keeping an eye on Hugsie - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Nganuo seems to have got his legs back now.

Hugsie dips a shoulder and cracks Nganuo with a mighty uppercut! Nganuo falls back against the cage and Hugsie unloads with a barrage of strikes! Nganuo is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hugsie screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
