Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Midnight Rider (ranked 1846 p4p, 242 weight class) and Comeon Hitme (ranked 2168 p4p, 275 weight class). Hitme has chosen Face Fisted - Dethklok as his entrance music. Comeon Hitme told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitme tries to close the distance and clinch but Rider swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rider lands a jab to the nose.
Rider throws a poor cross that misses
and Hitme counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Hitme takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rider misses with a looping left.
Rider looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hitme missing with a left hand there. Rider was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Rider throws a hook but Hitme avoids it easily.
Hitme looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Rider throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rider darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Comeon Hitme has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hitme has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rider finds it's way round the side to connect with Hitme's head.

Hitme is rocked!
Rider looks to land a left hand but Hitme moved out of range nicely.
Hitme is still on wobbly legs! Can Rider finish him?
BOOM! Rider lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hitme. Hitme tries to recover but Rider is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hitme lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Midnight Rider!
Midnight Rider very nearly forgot to thank Freebok (85% Laundry) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
