The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns drops his hands momentarily and Iva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Iva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Iva tries for a kimura but Johns is defending well.
Johns knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Iva on the ground.
Johns is not content to let Iva control the position.
