Tate is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by shotta flow . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nathaniel Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, TJ Tate!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tate decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Allen wants to stand back up but Tate manages to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Allen can't do much from the bottom here.
Tate scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Allen to see if he's OK.
Tate wants to stand but Allen is controlling his arm.

It looks like Nathaniel Allen has been cut.
Tate wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allen keeps working.

Tate thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Allen is looking to reverse the position.
Allen is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Still in half guard, Tate seems content to control.

Allen kicks Tate off and gets back to his feet.

Allen stops a takedown attempt from Tate.

Allen tries to pull guard but Tate won't allow it.
Allen can't get the takedown.
Allen goes for a takedown attempt but Tate pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathaniel Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tate shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Allen pinned against the cage. Allen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tate feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Allen wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Tate manages to pass to side control.

Tate content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Allen is refusing to be controlled, as Tate sits in half guard.
Tate moves into full mount! Allen won't be happy about that!
Allen tries to hold on but Tate postures up.
Tate tries to control but Allen wriggling away.
Tate cracks Allen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.


Nathaniel Allen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nathaniel Allen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). TJ Tate!
Our winner, TJ Tate, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
