Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Lamar Dominguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tj Killashaw!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killashaw waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dominguez.
Killashaw lands with an overhand left.


It looks like Lamar Dominguez has been cut.
Killashaw throws a body shot but no joy.
Dominguez really is a fat lump.
Dominguez moves away from the strike by Killashaw.
Dominguez appears to be looking for a big counter.
Killashaw lands a high kick!

Dominguez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Killashaw is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dominguez dives into side control.

Killashaw pushes Dominguez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dominguez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Killashaw raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Killashaw tries a head kick but it misses.
Dominguez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Killashaw counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Killashaw gets caught flat footed, as Dominguez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Killashaw is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dominguez is controlling him.

Killashaw avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dominguez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dominguez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Dominguez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Killashaw's head.

Killashaw is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dominguez is controlling him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dominguez slips a jab from Killashaw.
Dominguez throws a big counter combination but Killashaw scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Killashaw throws a jab when Dominguez was well out of range.
Dominguez seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Killashaw throws a body punch but Dominguez moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dominguez.

Killashaw stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tj Killashaw will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dominguez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Killashaw connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dominguez scrambles back to his feet.

and Killashaw counters with a left and a right that stings Dominguez.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Killashaw does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Killashaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Dominguez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Dominguez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Killashaw's half guard.
Dominguez prevents Killashaw from standing back up.
Killashaw tries to kick Dominguez off in order to stand up. Dominguez Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Killashaw is breathing heavily.
Dominguez lands a few punches from side control.

Dominguez tries for a kimura but Killashaw is defending well.
Killashaw takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Dominguez swings around for an armbar but Killashaw sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dominguez's guard.

Killashaw stands up from Dominguez's guard - Killashaw perhaps looking for a knockout.
Killashaw lands a jab-cross combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dominguez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Killashaw defends it nicely.

and Killashaw counters with a head kick that drops Dominguez to the mat! Dominguez scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Killashaw sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Dominguez's defenses. It connects perfectly with Dominguez's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
