Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilic throws a poor cross that misses
and Edwards counters with a takedown into side control.
Bilic seems a little lost for a moment, as Edwards dominates the positioning.
Bilic avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Edwards.
Edwards tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Edwards has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bilic trying to control but Edwards flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edwards is working the ground and pound. Can Bilic escape?
Edwards is trying to stick to Bilic's back but Bilic is turning into Edwards. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Edwards's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bilic.

Edwards is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Edwards looking for a sweep. Not yet Edwards, not yet.
Edwards seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Edwards has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bilic trying to control the position from guard on top but Edwards is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Edwards wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Edwards is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bilic presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Bilic misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bilic keeps control of Edwards as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Edwards fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bilic struggles to land a body shot inside as Edwards controls his hands.
Bilic misses with the head strike.
Edwards drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bilic pulls his leg out and moves away.

Edwards gets a double leg takedown into Bilic's guard.
Edwards controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Edwards looking to pass the guard.
Edwards passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bilic wants to sweep but Edwards has passed to side control!
Edwards takes a little break here. Bilic wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Edwards seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bilic for as long as he can get away with.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bilic misses with a looping right.
Edwards dives in and scores a takedown into Bilic's guard.
Bilic keeping full guard, as Edwards tries to pass.
Edwards throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bilic can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Edwards controls the pace.
Edwards gets to his feet. Bilic looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Bilic jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A left lands for Bilic.
Edwards throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Bilic crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
