Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Huang (ranked 1094 p4p, 159 weight class) and Risto Rautio (ranked 412 p4p, 62 weight class). Rautio has chosen mickey avalon as his entrance music. Kevin Huang could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Risto Rautio's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Huang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Huang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rautio is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Horrible takedown attempt by Huang or perhaps it was just good defense by Rautio, which made it look bad.

Rautio feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Huang sprawling to the canvas! Huang rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rautio finish him?!

Huang is rocked!

Huang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rautio is just riding it out for now. Huang eventually gives up the hold.

Huang looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Huang tries to pass to full mount but Rautio defends it.
Rautio is trying to get back to full guard.
Huang seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Huang wants to work for an arm triangle but Rautio is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rautio is doing well to control the position and prevent Huang from advancing to side control.

Huang is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Rautio still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Rautio has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
