The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yanagamichi avoids the head kick by Saifeddine.
Yanagamichi misses with a takedown attempt - Saifeddine sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Saifeddine throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Yanagamichi stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Saifeddine follows into mount!

Yanagamichi is rocked!

It looks like Sakuma Yanagamichi has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Saifeddine wants to control the pace but Yanagamichi is squirming around nicely.
Yanagamichi tries to reverse the position but Saifeddine maintains control.
Saifeddine tries to control but Yanagamichi wriggling away.
Yanagamichi sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Saifeddine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yanagamichi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Saifeddine has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Yanagamichi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Saifeddine is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Yanagamichi pulls down on the head and he's put Saifeddine to sleep! This one is all over!
