Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Williams (ranked 858 p4p, 112 weight class) and Conor OMalley (ranked 2236 p4p, 282 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley dives in for a single leg takedown but Williams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Tyrell Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

OMalley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Williams is refusing to be controlled, as OMalley sits in half guard.

OMalley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

OMalley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Williams leaves OMalley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and OMalley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Conor OMalley has been cut.

OMalley will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as OMalley holds on and takes a little breather.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

OMalley is looking for a triangle but Williams pushes his legs off easily.
OMalley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OMalley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Williams has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing OMalley to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Williams is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - OMalley pulls down on the head and he's put Williams to sleep! This one is all over!
