Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Saito Seiryu (ranked 6102 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Martinez (ranked 23329 p4p, 634 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; JJ Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Seiryu swats away the attempt to clinch by Martinez.

Martinez moves into the clinch successfully.
Martinez tries to pull guard but Seiryu holds him up against the cage and eventually Martinez drops back down to his feet.
Martinez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Seiryu pulls his leg out and moves away.

Saito Seiryu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Martinez.
Martinez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seiryu walks away with a smile on his face. Martinez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Martinez tries to pull guard but Seiryu won't allow it.

Martinez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Seiryu pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Seiryu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Martinez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Martinez tries to pull guard but Seiryu won't allow it.
Martinez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Seiryu to keep the fight standing.
Martinez jumps guard but Seiryu stands there with Martinez around his waist. Martinez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Martinez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Seiryu fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Seiryu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Seiryu darts in and clinches Martinez up against the cage.
Seiryu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Martinez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Seiryu seems to be working for a kimura but Martinez defends the submission attempt.
Martinez tries to roll over but Seiryu keeps him under control.
Martinez is trying to maintain the position but Seiryu is very close to passing his half guard.
Martinez is trying to control but Seiryu manages to pass to mount!

Martinez is trying desperately to improve position.

Seiryu has hold of Martinez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Martinez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Seiryu wants to take his opponent's back but Martinez doesn't allow it.

Martinez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Seiryu tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Seiryu looking to secure an arm triangle but Martinez defends it well.
Martinez is just holding on here. Seiryu manages to take his back.

Seiryu not allowing Martinez to control his hands.
Seiryu really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Martinez.

Martinez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Seiryu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Martinez is looking to escape here. Oh dear - Seiryu has locked on a rear naked choke here! Martinez is tapping out! The fight is over!
